I remember collecting magazine ads with which to make collages. Don't ever remember making any except a mixed media one of the Judgment of Paris.

I remember the Robert Peel, in particular a stripper who used to dance there with a large snake draped round her neck and a large alsatian keeping a watchful eye over her. The pub is now razed to the ground.

I remember seeing a hammer dulcimer player at Hampton Court fair. Don’t know if I bought a cassette of his there or later on. A very large American man, it turned out he was reasonably famous. His name was Jim Couza, I think. I learned There Were Roses by Tommy Sands from his cassette. He died a few years back.

I remember being quite excited when Eliot was given a pager.

I remember wearing patchwork jeans.
